I think it is safe to say that when a woman starts looking for a wedding dress, she starts on Pinterest. This may even be months or YEARS before she actually gets engaged and it may start with a super secret board where she stashes all her favorite things about weddings. Then, when she is ready to actually go to a store and have her “say yes” moment, she whips out her phone and starts showing her consultant all of the dresses that she loves from her (no longer secret) Pinterest board. But here’s the thing about Pinterest: Images stay on FOREVER. Which means that dresses you pinned even 3 months ago may not be available anymore; or dresses that you pinned may have been from 3 years ago and are definitely not available anymore. And, here’s another thing: some of the dresses are WAY over any normal person’s budget.

So I browsed Pinterest for some of the most pinned dresses that seem to come from an obscure source, and I am going to find REAL dresses that are currently available that you can try on and/or buy NOW that are similar to that dress. I have an obsession with guessing the designer of wedding dresses and dresses that celebs wear on the red carpet and I get it right most of the time, so this is just a super fun way for me to use that “talent.” Hope it helps you as you search!
